Occupational therapy at Unnati Neuro Development & Rehabilitation Centre is a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing individuals' ability to participate in meaningful activities of daily life. Our occupational therapists specialize in addressing a wide range of challenges, including fine motor difficulties, sensory processing issues, self-care deficits, and cognitive impairments.

Through personalized assessments, our therapists gain insights into each client's unique strengths and areas for growth. We then design individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and adaptive strategies to promote skill development and independence.

Our occupational therapy sessions may include:

  1. Fine Motor Skill Development: We focus on improving hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and precision through activities such as grasping, writing, drawing, and manipulating objects.
  2. Sensory Integration: For individuals with sensory processing disorders, we provide sensory-rich experiences to help regulate sensory input and improve attention, focus, and participation in daily activities.
  3. Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Training: We offer practical training in self-care tasks such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, with the goal of fostering greater independence and autonomy.
  4. Environmental Modifications: We assess home, school, and work environments to identify barriers to participation and recommend modifications or assistive devices to optimize function and safety.
  5. Cognitive Rehabilitation: For individuals with cognitive impairments, we implement cognitive training exercises to enhance memory, attention, problem-solving, and executive functioning skills.

Through our holistic approach to occupational therapy, we empower individuals to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and engage fully in their daily lives.
